Color Wars is a chain-reaction strategy game. Take turns placing dots on the board and try to eliminate every other player.
Tap an empty cell to claim it, or tap a cell that already belongs to you to add another dot.
You cannot normally place a dot on another player's cell.
Every cell has a limit based on how many neighboring cells it has:
When a cell reaches its limit, it explodes. The cell sends one dot into every neighboring cell.
The exploding cell becomes empty if it has no dots left. The neighboring cells become yours, even if they previously belonged to another player.
Explosions can cause nearby cells to reach their own limits. Those cells explode too, which can start a huge chain reaction.
A single move can therefore capture many cells and completely change the board.
Once every player has made at least one move, players with no dots remaining are eliminated.
The last player remaining wins the game.
Turn on Play vs Bot to play against computer opponents. You will always be the Circle and you go first.
The Bot looks at possible moves, chain reactions, dangerous cells, captures, and the opponent's possible responses before choosing a move. It does not simply choose a random cell.
Changing the number of players, grid size, or Bot mode automatically starts a fresh game using the new settings.
