Objective
Guide the snake around the board, eat the food,
and grow as long as possible without hitting
the walls or yourself.
How to Play
Goal
Eat the food to gain points and make the snake longer.
Movement
Use the arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen arrow buttons
to control the snake.
Normal Mode
The snake moves automatically. Choose a direction before
the next movement step.
Turn-Based Mode
The snake does not move automatically. Every valid
direction input moves the snake exactly one tile.
Scoring
Each food item gives 10 points.
Collision
Hitting a wall or your own body ends the game.
High Score
Your highest score is saved locally on this device.
Mode Toggle
The MODE button switches between Normal and
Turn-Based mode. Your selected mode is saved and
will still be selected after reloading the page.
Switching modes starts a new game.
